ILUMARK patents "Zero Gap" production

February 14th

Feldkirchen, 14th February 2011 – At the end of 2010 ILUMARK GmbH filed a patent on the production method of its Navigation Markers. The innovative “Zero Gap” production enhances the ILUMARK Navigation Markers to even more precision. With the new process the two hemispheres of the Marker are exactly merged. An obvious gap on the equator, which can be found on most comparable Navigation Markers is virtually eliminated. This gap can reduce the precision of the Marker Sphere. Through the “Zero Gap” production ILUMARK Navigation Markers receive optimal roundness and perfect surface conditions. This leads to outstanding precision and a brilliant optical appearance.

Independent test institutes make us belief that our ILUMARK Navigation Markers show slightly better precision than comparable Markers. In addition, the new “Zero Gap” production method is cost saving, which enables our customers to save up to 30% compared to other Navigation Markers.

“We are constantly working on the improvement of our products, to be able to offer our customers the highest quality. We are proud to have a production method, which enables us to offer our customers better quality Navigation Markers at a fair price.” said the CEO of ILUMARK, Holger Rossner.

For hospitals and clinics ILUMARK Navigation Markers are a high quality and economically very interesting alternative to already existing Navigation Markers.
